Demand Media's acquisition of eHow.com added to its robust SEO strategy for digital publishing. In preparation for Demand's IPO, the site had to be completely re-architected to become a trusted, consumer brand that garnered direct, repeat traffic, as well as attracting national advertising dollars across industry verticals.

The brand became one of the largest, consumer digital properties online with a reach that was larger than most cable networks. 

  • Paving the way for Demand Medias successful IPO in 2011, eHow’s traffic grew to more than 120 million monthly visitors, reaching 35% of all people online. 
  • The site was also home to six internet category top 10’s - #1 Home,  #2 Personal Finance, #3 Pets, #5 Lifestyle, #5 Food, #6 Tech.
